This explains what WURTHIT collects, why, and what we do with it. WURTHIT is operated by New Growth Investments LLC (“NGI”, “we”).

What we collect

• Your email, if you join the mailing list or use the contact form.
• Your name and message, if you contact us.
• A lease and a photo ID, if you submit a landlord rating. We require these to verify that a review comes from a real tenancy.
• What you type into our rent tools — rent, size, ZIP, condition. These are used to calculate a result for you.
• Basic request data our host records — IP address, browser type, pages visited — kept in aggregate.

The lease and ID you upload

Rating submissions are reviewed by a person at NGI before a score is published. That means authorised NGI staff can see the lease and identification you upload. We use them only to verify the tenancy, we do not publish them, and we do not sell or share them.

Your name is not attached to the public score. What appears publicly is the landlord or property and the ratings themselves.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or licence your personal information.
• We do not run advertising or third-party ad tracking on this site.
• We use only essential cookies to keep the site working.

Who else touches your data

We use a small number of providers to run the service, each handling only what their job needs: Cloudflare (hosting and aggregate site analytics), Stripe (payments — card details go to Stripe, never to us), Resend (email delivery), and Anthropic (the on-site assistant, when you use it).

Being straight with you about security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and encryption at rest through our infrastructure providers. We do not currently hold SOC 2, ISO 27001 or comparable third-party certification, and we are not structured so that NGI staff are technically incapable of reading what you submit. We would rather tell you that than imply otherwise.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in it, or reply and ask.
• Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us. We will act on it within 30 days.
• Withdraw a rating you submitted by emailing us.

Children

WURTHIT is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and for a material change we will say so on the site.
