By using WURTHIT you agree to these terms. WURTHIT is operated by New Growth Investments LLC (“NGI”, “we”), Chicago, Illinois.

What WURTHIT is

WURTHIT publishes tenant-submitted ratings of landlords and properties, and provides tools for renters and landlords. Scores reflect the opinions of the tenants who submitted them, verified against a lease and identification. They are not our judgement of a landlord, and they are not a background check, a credit report, or a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

If you submit a rating

• It must be about a tenancy that was genuinely yours.
• It must be your honest experience. Do not submit anything you know to be false.
• Do not include other people’s personal details, threats, or slurs.
• You keep ownership of what you write; you give us permission to publish and display it as part of a score.
• We may decline or remove a submission we cannot verify or that breaks these rules.

If you are a landlord

You may claim your profile and respond to ratings. We will look at a factual dispute — email us with the detail and we will review it. We will not remove an accurate review because it is unflattering.

Paid plans

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on the interval shown at checkout, and renew until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the billing portal; cancelling stops future charges and access continues to the end of the period already paid for. We do not give partial refunds for time already elapsed.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to reach other people’s data, scrape the site at scale, upload malware, impersonate anyone, or use WURTHIT to harass. We may suspend access to protect the service or its users.

No warranty, and the limit of our liability

WURTHIT is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available but we do not guarantee either, and we do not commit to a specific uptime. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Not legal or financial advice

Nothing on WURTHIT is legal advice about your tenancy or a recommendation about a specific property. If a housing matter is serious, speak to a lawyer or a tenants’ rights organisation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
